About Me
Hello, I'm Kirsty James, a Registered Nutritionist & Nutritional Therapist.
Most people come to me because something doesn’t feel quite right - low energy, unsettled digestion, stress-related symptoms, poor sleep, mood changes, weight fluctuations, or simply feeling 'out of balance'.
My job is to help you understand what your body is trying to tell you and guide you with realistic, evidence-based nutrition that genuinely supports your everyday wellbeing.

I work with adults of all ages who want to improve their health through personalised nutrition.
Whether you're dealing with gut issues, fatigue, stress, PMS or PMDD, blood sugar imbalances, thyroid health, inflammation, or struggling to maintain healthy habits, we look at the whole picture to uncover the root cause of your symptoms.

I also have a special interest in Hormonal Health & Midlife Nutrition.
For those navigating perimenopause/menopause or hormonal changes - disrupted sleep, mood shifts, hot flushes, irregular cycles, anxiety, stubborn weight changes. I offer targeted nutrition and lifestyle support to help this transitional time of life.
This is one of my areas of focus, but not the only one. My practice remains open and supportive to anyone seeking better health, clarity, and consistent energy.

My approach is calm, practical, and tailored to you.
No restrictive diets or quick fixes - just sustainable, science-backed strategies designed around your unique needs, your routine, and what’s realistic for your life.
The aim is simple: helping you feel clearer, calmer, more energised, and more in control of your health.

My Story

My interest in nutrition began after facing a health concern and ending up in A&E that prompted me to reassess my lifestyle. As I started exploring how food and daily habits influence long-term wellbeing, a chance visit to a local health centre’s Open Day introduced me to a Nutritional Therapist whose guidance completely transformed how I approached food, wellness, and self-care. From that point on, I immersed myself in learning everything I could about nutrition and health.
I originally graduated with degrees in Economics and Commerce and worked as a Certified Practising Accountant before deciding to retrain in Nutritional Therapy. This career pivot allowed me to combine my analytical background with a desire to help others make meaningful, sustainable improvements to their health.
After having children, I experienced hormonal health issues that again improved through nutritional therapy. These experiences inspired me to dedicate my career to helping others overcome their own health challenges and feel their best. I’ve seen first-hand how small, consistent changes can transform how people feel both physically and mentally. That belief continues to inspire my work today: helping clients find clarity, confidence, and balance through food that truly supports them.
